"It appeared that Gimenez moved his hand closer to the prior pitch perhaps trying to get hit on the hand, and neither Wrobleski nor Gimenez seemed too joyous about the hit-by-pitch. Benches cleared in World Series Game 7 after Justin Wrobleski hit Andres Gimenez by a pitch in the bottom of the fourth. Both benches and bullpens rushed to the field as Dodgers and Blue Jays players jawed at each other for several minutes. Umpires issued warnings to both teams, and no players were ejected. Gimenez appeared to move his hand closer to the prior pitch, and both he and Wrobleski showed frustration after the hit-by-pitch. George Springer followed with an infield single off Wrobleski. Wrobleski struck out the next batter before being replaced by Tyler Glasnow, who induced a fly out to end the inning.
