Alonso defends Mbappe, Vini Jr. over penalty miss

Real Madrid beat Valencia 4-0 at the Santiago Bernab in a match where Kylian Mbappp scored twice and handed a second penalty to Vincius Jnior, which was saved by Julen Agirrezabala before Jude Bellingham scored a minute later. Mbappp has 13 goals in 11 LaLiga games and recently won the 2024-25 European Golden Shoe. Xabi Alonso said penalty takers are assigned with Mbappp as first choice and described the penalty decision as "no big deal." Vincius apologised for a previous substitution reaction and shook Alonso's hand after being substituted again on Saturday.
