"I'm an OG Angeleno."
"My family is here and I feel like as a whole, people who are from L.A. are a lot more down to earth. It's the transplants who come here with some weird energy. But the people who are from L.A. are just lovely."
"So I waited a little bit and then I slipped in at the last minute and was like 'OK, I'm in!'"
Niecy Nash-Betts has lived exclusively in Los Angeles, residing in neighborhoods from Compton to Palmdale. She credits Los Angeles' warm weather, close family ties, and the down-to-earth nature of native Angelenos for keeping her rooted in Southern California. Nash-Betts joins Ryan Murphy's Hulu series All's Fair, which follows female divorce attorneys leaving a male-dominated firm to start their own practice. She nearly passed on the role after finishing Grotesquerie but ultimately joined at the last minute. The ensemble cast includes Sarah Paulson, Kim Kardashian, Glenn Close, Naomi Watts, and Teyana Taylor. Her ideal Sunday includes farmer's markets, massages, Thai dinner, and skinny dipping with champagne.
