Jo Brand lends her voice to London Poppy Day across the Tube and rail network

"You will be able to hear her voice across TfL stations today to support the Royal British Legion's aim of raising more than £1 million from donations for the annual London Poppy Day appeal. Collections will take place at stations across the network until 7pm, with more than 1,700 volunteers supporting uniformed fundraisers, representing the Tri-Service contingent from across the Army, Navy and Royal Air Force."

"This year, London Poppy Day aims to raise between £800,000 to £1 million in a single day. As well as Jo Brand's announcements on rail and tube stations, eight of London's buses have been redesigned to feature a special design honouring past and present servicepeople. The buses will retain the poppy wrap design until 16th November. Specially designed trains on the Elizabeth line, London Underground, London Overground, Trams, and DLR all feature specially designed poppy illustrations."

Specially designed trains on the Elizabeth line, London Underground, London Overground, Trams and DLR feature poppy illustrations, and the IFS Cloud Cable Car will carry commemorative poppy designs. Select stations and platforms will display poppy roundels.
