Man Charged After Shooting 3 Innocent Bystanders Near NYC Hospital
"BROOKLYN, NY - A man has been charged after shooting three people outside a Brooklyn hospital last week, police said on Friday. Allan Joseph, 52, has been charged with attempted murder, assault and gun possession, among other offenses, in connection with the Oct. 24 incident, police said. The three victims appear to be innocent bystanders. A 33-year-old suffered a gunshot wound to the thigh, a 16-year-old boy was struck in the hip and a 15-year-old suffered a graze wound to the foot."
"According to police, Joseph missed his intended targets when he opened fire near Marcus Garvey Blvd. and Broadway in Bed-Stuy. The shooting may have stemmed after Joseph came to the defense of his 15-year-old daughter, who was arguing with a group of teens near the hospital before the shooting, according to the New York Daily News. The 52-year-old is expected to be arraigned on Friday."
