Civilians across Sudan are experiencing severe suffering as a direct result of ongoing conflict. Widespread humanitarian needs include shelter, food, medical care, and protection for displaced and affected populations. Immediate, safe humanitarian access and strengthened civilian protection are necessary to reduce mortality and suffering. A cessation of hostilities and concrete measures to facilitate aid delivery will be essential to stabilize conditions. Long-term resolution will require political engagement, accountability for violence, and sustained international support to rebuild infrastructure, restore services, and enable safe returns for displaced communities.
