"It's something new, very different from what I was used to. Sometimes I'm very positive, other times I struggle a bit. Overall, I'm satisfied."
"As a fan, playing for AC Milan was my dream, and I achieved it. I have no regrets. There were some things that hurt a little, and I think I was the one who suffered the most. It was never my intention to leave. I didn't want to have anything to do with certain people anymore. Sartori had been looking for me since the beginning, and he told my agent: 'If he ever has a fight with the manager, know that we're here for you.' Two days later at San Siro, what we all saw happened."
Davide Calabria ended a long spell at AC Milan when his contract expired and the club chose not to renew him. He spent the second half of the season on loan at Bologna, who did not sign him permanently. As a boyhood Milanista, the exit was painful and included a notable on-field spat with Sergio Conceicao. Calabria later joined Panathinaikos in the Greek Super League. He described the Greek experience as new and different, with moments of positivity and struggle, and expressed overall satisfaction. He emphasized the importance of constant psychological support and recalled Sartori’s warning to his agent before the San Siro incident.
