Alessandro Florenzi, a former AC Milan and Roma player who was part of Milan's 2021-22 Scudetto-winning squad, has predicted that Inter will clinch the Serie A title this season. Despite Milan's derby victory reducing the gap to seven points with ten games left, Florenzi believes Inter still has one hand on the trophy. Speaking to Corriere dello Sport, he also expressed confidence that Juventus manager Allegri will secure Champions League qualification, while suggesting Atalanta's Gasperini can compete for it. Florenzi, who retired at age 35 after his Milan contract expired, played an important role during the 2021-22 season with his experience and leadership, contributing two goals from right-back.
