Mike Maignan signed a contract extension with AC Milan running until 30 June 2031, reportedly worth €5m plus €2m in bonuses per year. The renewal followed a change of heart after arrivals of coach Max Allegri, his staff, and sporting director Igli Tare. Maignan has been Club Captain since January and has made 188 appearances for Milan. He was instrumental in the 2021/22 Scudetto and the 2024 Supercoppa Italiana victories. Maignan earned recognition as Serie A's best goalkeeper for 2021/22. The club and player aim to continue building success together.
