Stellantis N.V. and Factorial Energy have achieved a key milestone by validating FEST® solid-state battery cells for electric vehicles, highlighting advancements in energy density and charging speed. The validated 77Ah cells exhibit an energy density of 375Wh/kg and can charge rapidly from 15% to over 90% in just 18 minutes. This collaboration focuses on creating lighter, more efficient batteries, with Stellantis planning to launch a demo fleet by 2026.
