In a recent real-world range test of 27 electric vehicles conducted in Norway, the Lucid Air emerged as the champion for range, traveling 514 miles on a single charge. However, this figure significantly undershot its claimed WLTP range of 596 miles, showcasing an 81-mile discrepancy. Notably, over half of the tested vehicles surpassed their WLTP claims, with the Tesla Model Y and Zeekr 7X being the top performers in exceeding their official range ratings, highlighting the performance variability among electric cars in real-world conditions.
The group range test in Norway revealed that the Lucid Air, despite being the overall longest-range EV, had a significant discrepancy from its claimed WLTP range.
