Mikel Arteta is hopeful that Arsenal can still make it to the Champions League final, following a close first-leg defeat to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). The match saw Ousmane Dembele score the only goal during a commanding first half by PSG. Though Arsenal improved, they could not equalize, partly due to impressive saves by Gianluigi Donnarumma. Despite the loss, Arteta emphasized the slim margins that determine such high-stakes matches and his belief in the team's potential to turn the tie around in the second leg.
It's half-time and we have a big chance to be in the final. We're disappointed with the result, obviously, as we put so much into the game.
But the goal was a great individual moment and those are the margins at this level. After that, the team got better and better and we were frustrated not to get a draw at least.
