"We found 410,592 total mentions of the keywords between 9 June 2020 and 3 July 2025, and used Brandwatch's ability to separate mentions by source in order to find which sources hosted the highest volumes of mentions,"
"Searches on Google, Yahoo, and Bing all yielded at least one result leading the user to SIIA technology within the first 20 results when searching for 'deepnude,' 'nudify,' and 'undress app,'"
"In the case of Bing, the first results for all three searchers were SIIA tools."
An analysis of synthetic intimate image abuse (SIIA) tools identified 31 dedicated websites that together received about 21 million visits per month, with peaks up to four million in a single month. SimilarWeb data revealed a common group of sites sharing content, audiences, keywords and referrals. Social media monitoring captured 410,592 mentions of relevant keywords between 9 June 2020 and 3 July 2025 across X, Reddit, Bluesky, YouTube, Tumblr, Facebook public pages, forums, blogs and review sites. Simple web searches for 'deepnude,' 'nudify,' and 'undress app' returned SIIA tools within the first 20 results on major search engines, and Bing surfaced SIIA tools as top organic results. X was a major distribution vector for mentions.
