San Francisco Art Week, SF Sketchfest, and the Napa Lighted Art Festival kick off alongside a variety of neighborhood events. SF Sketchfest runs Thursday, January 15 through Sunday, February 1 with over 500 performers including Elizabeth Banks, Jenny Slate, and Natasha Leggero. The immersive theatrical experience Compton's Cafeteria Riot and the 20-year anniversary show of Mortified! are scheduled. Community offerings include a mosaic-making class at The Faight, Dry January mocktail menu at Dirty Habit, and a salon with artist and nonprofit founder Inga Bard. Five shows from the Formerly Incarcerated People's Performance Project close a three-year residency at Berkeley Repertory Theatre.
