In a recent episode of First Take, Stephen A. Smith criticized Jax Ulbrich for making a prank call to Shedeur Sanders during the NFL Draft weekend. Sanders, who was drafted much later than expected, was targeted in a cruel joke by Ulbrich, identifiable as the son of Falcons' defensive coordinator. Smith called for discipline from Ulbrich's father, highlighting the potential consequences of the prank on both Sanders' reputation and the family’s professional dynamic. Public apologies were issued from both Ulbrich and the Falcons, but the incident has invoked serious discussion around ethics in sports.
Now, in my opinion, this kid - I sincerely hope, to Jeff Ulbrich, I sincerely hope he whipped his kid's ass. That's an ass whipping! That is a required ass whipping! So your dad is a defensive coordinator for the Atlanta Falcons. You go into his laptop computer and find a number for Shedeur Sanders and you prank call him.
First of all, it was cruel and it was classless to Shedeur. It jeopardized your dad. What if the Atlanta Falcons didn't believe that it was just you? What if they had believed it was him?
