Djordje Petrovic has joined Bournemouth from Chelsea for a reported fee of £25 million, signing a five-year contract. He previously played on loan at Strasbourg, where he excelled with 10 clean sheets in 31 Ligue 1 matches. Petrovic had one of the top save percentages, contributing significantly to Strasbourg's success in reaching the Conference League. His transfer follows Kepa Arrizabalaga's return to Chelsea and subsequent move to Arsenal. Petrovic, who spent last season on loan in Ligue 1 with Strasbourg, has put pen to paper on a five-year deal with the Cherries for a reported £25m fee.
Of the goalkeepers to make over 30 appearances in the French top flight last season, only Marcin Bulka (74.7%) had a better save percentage than Petrovic (74.5%).
