'Maybe I should have judged my effort differently' - No win for Ben Healy on Mont Ventoux, but magical Tour de France continues
Briefly

Ben Healy has demonstrated remarkable skill in the Tour de France, with achievements including a stage win, a yellow jersey, and ranking in the top 10 for the General Classification. During a recent stage, Healy participated in an early breakaway and later pursued Enric Mas on Mont Ventoux. Though he secured second place and received the combative rider's award, he noted he had strong legs and raced strategically. He acknowledged that timing his efforts better on the final climb could have improved his results.
I think I played it really nicely in the break and never really touched the wind once until Ventoux.
I hit Ventoux and I wasn't really sure how my legs were. I took it steady at the bottom and kind of went at a nice pace.
Unfortunately I wasn't quite able to distance the other guys on the last half of this climb. Maybe I should have judged my effort a little bit differently because for sure I had super legs.
I tried to get a jump on him in the finish, because I knew he was more explosive than me on a finish like this.
