Paul Double launched a solo move to win the Queen stage of Okolo Slovenska and clinch the overall general classification for Team Jayco-AlUla. Team Jayco-AlUla and Team Visma | Lease a Bike were on the offensive throughout the day. Bart Lemmen and Thomas Gloag finished second and third on the stage and retained those placings in the final general classification. Slovakian national champion Lukáš Kubiš (Unibet Tietema Rockets) had been runner-up to Soudal-QuickStep's Paul Magnier on each of the previous four stages and stayed with the lead group until the final 5km, ultimately finishing sixth overall. The victory marked Double's second professional win.
