Amazon Kindle returns to India after year-long hiatus

This 6th generation model features a 7-inch 300PPI display, 16GB of storage, and is touted as Amazon's fastest Kindle with a 25% improvement in page turns. It offers a battery life of up to 12 weeks and water resistance. Previously, multiple Kindle models were available in India, but now only the Paperwhite is sold at a premium price of INR 16,999, marking a significant change in Amazon's Kindle strategy in India.
The latest Kindle Paperwhite, which is the 6th generation Paperwhite and the 12th generation Kindle, features a 7-inch 300PPI display and is water-resistant.
Amazon has relaunched the Kindle in India after a hiatus, now offering only the Paperwhite model, which is priced at INR 16,999.
