David Pastrnak and biathlete Lucie Charvátová will carry Czechia's flag at the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics opening ceremony. Pastrnak said he is speechless and very honored, and pledged to give his all while representing his country. Czechia opens its preliminary hockey round against Canada on Feb. 12 after winning the 2024 IIHF World Championship on home ice. Leon Draisaitl will be Germany's flag-bearer. The opening ceremony begins Friday, Feb. 6 at 2 p.m. EST. Recent local results include the Celtics' 114-93 win over the Rockets and the Bruins' 5-4 shootout loss to the Panthers; the Bruins return Feb. 26 against the Blue Jackets. The Patriots will face the Seahawks in Super Bowl LX on Sunday at 6:30 p.m.
