The reasons for these disparities are still unclear, but various factors such as chronic heart disease, postpartum hemorrhage, and obesity play a role. Additionally, the article emphasizes the emotional toll of maternal loss, highlighting the need for community resources and better support systems. To combat these high mortality rates, raising awareness and education in the community are essential, particularly regarding maternal care and grief support.
