AGA reports record 2025 US commercial gaming revenue growth

The US commercial gaming industry achieved record gross gaming revenue of $78.72 billion in 2025, representing a 9.2% year-over-year increase. Traditional brick-and-mortar casinos generated $50.94 billion with a 2.3% increase, producing $11.33 billion in tax revenue. Sports betting drove significant growth with revenue jumping 22.8% to $16.96 billion on $166.94 billion in total wagers, generating $3.71 billion in taxes. Online casino gaming showed the fastest growth at 27.6%, reaching $10.74 billion. Industry leaders attribute sustained growth to the broad appeal of regulated gaming markets.
