Arrest made in killing of East Bay man found dead off Napa County highway
"The arrest took place a day after Napa sheriff's deputies found the body of Salvador De Jesus Castillo-Hernandez, 20, with multiple gunshot wounds, the agency said in a news release Monday night. About 9:40 a.m. Sunday, a driver on Monticello Road spotted Castillo-Hernandez lying unresponsive and called 911. He was pronounced dead at the scene, in the 2600 block of Monticello Road, and identified Monday by the sheriff's office."
"About 2 p.m. Monday, Napa County sheriff's deputies arrested Bryan Gomez of Vallejo in Napa on suspicion of murder. He was booked into the Napa County jail and is being held without bail. The sheriff's office did not say what connected Gomez to the killing or how authorities located him. As of early Monday afternoon, authorities were still investigating several aspects of the shooting, including where and when it took place and determining a motive, sheriff's spokesperson Henry Wofford said."

Napa County sheriff's deputies arrested 22-year-old Bryan Gomez of Vallejo about 2 p.m. Monday on suspicion of murder and booked him into Napa County jail without bail. Authorities did not disclose what connected Gomez to the killing or how he was located. The investigation continues into the time, location, and motive of the shooting.
