Scheffler secures 6th win in Ryder Cup tune-up
"I know I was going to have to have another good day,"
"I'm fortunate to be the winner this week."
"'It's huge,' Griffin said. 'One of my goals this week was to give myself a chance. ... I kind of wish Scottie wasn't here, but I'm sure the fans enjoyed it.'"
Scottie Scheffler closed with a 5-under 67 to win the Procore Championship, securing his sixth PGA Tour victory this year and 19th career title. Scheffler erased a two-shot deficit on Ben Griffin and made up eight shots over the weekend with rounds of 64 and 67. Ben Griffin three-putted the par-5 18th from about 60 feet for par and finished one stroke behind after a 70. Lanto Griffin shot 65 to finish alone in third and moved to No. 100 in the FedEx Cup standings. Large crowds attended the event at Silverado.
