A woman was critically injured after her Nissan Altima crashed into a center divider on Highway 24 near the Caldecott Tunnel. The incident occurred in the early morning, around 7:37 a.m., in the eastbound lanes. The collision left her unconscious, necessitating the breaking of a vehicle window to extricate her for medical treatment. She was subsequently transported to a hospital via ambulance.
