Tesla Board Chair slams Wall Street journal over alleged CEO search report
Briefly

Recent adjustments in the automotive tariff program by Secretary Howard Lutnick have been termed "Tesla-friendly" but aim to bolster U.S. manufacturing overall. Cars made with at least 85% domestic content will incur zero tariffs, while U.S. automakers can receive credits on imported parts. Currently, only three Tesla vehicles qualify, yet many automakers are close to this threshold. This initiative encourages companies, including Ford and Honda, to enhance domestic production, ultimately benefiting American jobs and competitiveness in the automotive sector.
"This is 'finish your cars in America and you win'," Lutnick said.
According to Kelley Blue Book's most recent study, there are many vehicles extremely close to qualifying for these tariff reductions.
