'Best since Neymar' - Chelsea to get early look at 'special' signing
Briefly

Chelsea's new talent, Estevao Willian, a Brazilian winger, will showcase his skills at the FIFA Club World Cup while still representing Palmeiras, due to a pre-existing contract clause. Estevao, who impressed with five caps for Brazil and 11 goals in 32 games, is deemed a future key player by the national team coach Carlo Ancelotti. Willian, a former Chelsea star, praised him as having great potential. Palmeiras coach Abel Ferreira uniquely acknowledged Estevao's extraordinary talent, marking him as a standout player unlike any he's previously encountered.
"He's got a special talent," said new Brazil coach Carlo Ancelotti after giving the 18-year-old a first international start against Ecuador. "He's got character, he's a good person, he's humble, and he seems fine to me, but with a young player we have to be patient and careful."
"This player is different from everything I've ever seen," the Palmeiras coach said in a press conference in May 2024. The two-time Libertadores champion is not particularly known for letting himself get carried away too easily, especially in front of the cameras.
