Mykhailo Mudryk, a Chelsea winger, has appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport against a Football Association drugs ban stemming from a urine test in December 2024. He has been suspended for nearly 18 months and has not played since November 2024. The FA charged him in June 2025 but has not clarified his ban status. Mudryk reportedly encountered the banned substance meldonium while with the Ukraine national team. He aims to return to football this year while training at Uxbridge FC.
