Tom Brown, the former Green Bay Packers star who was instrumental in their 1966 NFL title game victory, has died at 84. Drafted by the Packers in 1963, he was part of three consecutive NFL championship teams from 1965 to 1967 under coach Vince Lombardi. Brown is best remembered for his game-winning interception in the closing moments of the 1966 title game against Dallas, effectively sealing the Packers' place in history. After six seasons in the NFL, he also played one major league baseball season with the Washington Senators.
