Jaden Fauske, a recent graduate of Nazareth Academy, was drafted by the Chicago White Sox as the No. 44 overall pick. His achievement was celebrated at a draft party with family, friends, teammates, and coaches. Fauske, who has become the highest drafted player from Nazareth, is still deciding between playing for the White Sox or continuing with his college commitment to Louisiana State University. He was named the Gatorade Illinois Player of the Year this past season and was chosen all-state for the third straight year.
Nazareth head coach Lee Milano said Fauske’s future is very bright and there were multiple scenarios in a quick period of time during the draft.
Fauske is listed as a 6-foot-2, 205-pound outfielder/catcher and has made significant achievements during his high school baseball career.
