Fraser Ellard returned to the Chicago White Sox for Friday's doubleheader against the visiting Cleveland Guardians after rehabbing from a left lat strain with Triple-A Charlotte.
Ellard, 27, had been on the IL since May 4 but was transferred to the 60-day list on June 8; he made 10 relief appearances in Charlotte before his return.
In his stint at Triple-A, Ellard posted a 3.27 ERA with 12 strikeouts over 11 innings, earning a 1-0 record.
For the White Sox this season, Ellard has a 0-2 record with a 6.75 ERA and 10 strikeouts in 6.2 innings.
