One of London's most hyped coffee shops has revealed plans for a new espresso bar in Farringdon

"Allpress has announced it's opening a new site in Farringdon in early April. Expect the same high-class brews and beans from the cafe's other outposts, including signature blends alongside rotating single-origin coffees. As for food, the obligatory pastry selection and in-house cakes will also make a daily appearance."

"The new coffee bar combines elements of Scandinavian, Japanese and mid-century design. Think oiled oak furnishings, vintage-inspired rice paper ceiling hangings and sleek porcelain tiling. A central bar makes the Farringdon spot meeting-friendly, while leaner bars lining the internal walls are perfect for a quick espresso pit-stop."

"The new location - Allpress's fifth in the UK - overlooks Smithfield Market, one of the capital's oldest food spots and the largest meat market in the country. From 2am every weekday morning Smithfield is packed with traders flogging any kind of meat you can imagine."

Allpress, a Kiwi coffee brand that established its first London location in Shoreditch in 2010, is expanding westward with a new Farringdon outpost opening in early April. Located at 88-89 Cowcross Street, the cafe overlooks Smithfield Market, London's historic meat market. The space features Scandinavian, Japanese, and mid-century design elements including oiled oak furnishings, rice paper ceiling hangings, and porcelain tiling. The venue includes a central bar for socializing and leaner bars for quick service, plus outdoor seating. Allpress will serve its signature coffee blends, rotating single-origin coffees, pastries, and in-house cakes. This marks the brand's fifth UK location, following its Manchester expansion in 2023.
