Marshawn Kneeland, a 24-year-old defensive end for the Dallas Cowboys, has died. The Cowboys confirmed his death and expressed condolences to his girlfriend Catalina and his family. Kneeland was drafted in the second round out of Western Michigan last year. He scored his first NFL touchdown three days earlier by recovering a blocked punt in a loss to the Arizona Cardinals. His agent described him as talented, hardworking and beloved, and requested privacy for loved ones. The Frisco Police Department reported a man was found deceased from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot after an outside agency vehicle pursuit and multi-agency search on November 5, 2025, at approximately 10:39 p.m., when officers responded to assist the Texas Department of Public Safety.
