"Well, if you haven't heard by now, the only way for the Cowboys to make the playoffs is to win out and the Eagles to lose out. With that said, as you look around the league this week, a few other teams are in 'must-win' mode, including a few that we are not used to saying that about. We know what the Cowboys need to do, but I wanted to dive into a few other teams that you should keep an eye on going forward as a football fan. All of these teams are in desperate mode, and need a lot of help, just like Dallas!"
"That two-time MVP is on the outside looking in, and like the Cowboys, the only chance they are going to have is to win their division. That means the Steelers are going to have to lose of these next two games. They square off in week 18, and if the Ravens can win and the Steelers drop at least one, that game will be for the AFC North crown. Let's be honest though, the Ravens play the Patriots this week at home on Sunday Night Football."
The Cowboys can only make the playoffs by winning every remaining game while the Eagles lose all remaining games. The Baltimore Ravens must win the AFC North and need the Steelers to lose at least once in the next two games; their game against the Patriots on Sunday Night Football is critical. The Detroit Lions must win out and also require substantial help, including the Chicago Bears losing at least two of their final three games and potential stumbles by Green Bay or NFC West teams. Several teams are desperate and dependent on multiple external results to qualify.
