The Anthony Timberlands Center opened in Fayetteville, Arkansas and presents a totemic presence within its landscape. The center functions as part of the Fay Jones School of Architecture and Design and is conceived as a model for mass timber and wood-product construction. The project emphasizes the use of timber and wood products to demonstrate scalable, material-focused construction approaches. International design by Pritzker Prize-winning Grafton Architects combined with local execution by studio Modus and lighting by TM Light to produce a collaborative demonstration of timber-based architectural practice and regional engagement.
