Notable interior designers are applying residential design approaches to private jets, bringing expressive sensibilities and artisanal techniques to highly regulated cabin environments. Shalini Misra treated a 14-seat Bombardier Global Express XRS as a sumptuous room, incorporating wallpaper, rugs, and personalized artistic elements inspired by the client's life and interests, including Japan. A neutral, soothing palette of cream, tan, and blue was chosen to reduce tedium and in-air stress.
