"According to an online survey by Ripple Research of more than 1,500 Americans, 57 percent of Americans believe Valentine's Day is becoming more about "celebrating all relationships" than just romantic. That includes Galentine's Day celebrations, which usually fall on the day before Valentine's Day, as a way to celebrate the important women in your life. According to OpenTable Data, the trend increased 34 percent year over year, with 60 percent of Gen Z'ers saying they'll celebrate with the girls."
"But last and certainly not least, the data found that more than half of Americans (58 percent) say that solo dining on Valentine's Day is both socially acceptable and a form of self-love. Once again, Gen Z is leading the charge on this one with 69 percent saying they love the idea, followed by 68 percent of millennials. And, according to OpenTable data, there was a 35 percent year-over-year increase in solo bookings, showing that this trend has legs."
