The plaintiffs, Caery Evangelist, Brian Els and Bradley Larios, sought class-action status for all affected state residents whose information was hacked in May 2023.
Although plaintiffs pointed to one fraudulent Chase Visa card application case, the bank caught it before any damage was done, leading to the case's dismissal.
