In Downtown Oakland, Comfort Collective, a Black and queer-owned food, beverage and event pop-up, moved into the former Couchdate spot at Frank H. Ogawa Plaza. Comfort Collective offers a Southern cuisine–inspired Sol Brunch on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and plans more events and pop-ups.
