The beloved bar was not only a bar, but served as a venue for many chef pop-ups, including Lovely's owner Mikey Yoon as well as Navajo tacos from Rocky Yazzie."
"The Lodge, 3758 Piedmont Ave., Oakland. Readers told us Uzen, a Japanese restaurant on College Avenue in Oakland's Rockridge neighborhood, has closed. A note on the window states that they closed Jan. 31. The restaurant had been in Rockridge for 34 years and focused on sushi as well as meals such as bentos and noodles.
