Ocean waste sculpture highlights 'plastic crisis'
Briefly

A new sculpture titled All Of Me, created by Daniela Raytchev from recycled ocean plastic, will be unveiled on the tall ship Oosterschelde at Tower Bridge Quay in London. The piece, inspired by a Barbie doll of Dame Jane Goodall, aims to draw attention to the plastic crisis. The sculpture incorporates plastic collected from Brazil and Uruguay during the Darwin200 voyage. Proceeds from its sale will support environmental conservation efforts. Annually, over 11 million tonnes of plastic enter the oceans, threatening marine life by 2050 if trends continue.
Dame Jane Goodall said, "Daniela's sculpture puts the spotlight on the plastic crisis and highlights the importance of working together towards a better future for all."
Raytchev stated, "I created this piece to show how working in harmony with nature can turn waste into a message of hope."
