Nokia has been chosen to lead the Proactif project, aimed at enhancing Europe's technology resilience and leadership in European Citizen Science technologies. This project, funded by the Chips Joint Undertaking (JU) under the European Union's Chips Act, focuses on critical infrastructure surveillance and emergency management. The Proactif consortium comprises 42 partners from 13 countries, aiming to develop advanced unmanned vehicle systems that prioritize interoperability, autonomy, and rapid deployment. The initiative seeks to foster collaboration among academic institutions, SMEs, and industry leaders, and is projected to generate around €90 million in revenue, contributing to Europe's civil security needs.
