NikeSkims has its first lookbook, and it's a new take on athleisure
"NikeSkims was designed to sweat in."
"No more compromises. We're combining high-performance innovation with sexy, style-forward design for all women who demand both."
"a consumer need and are creating a new market of style-led product that sculpts and performs."
"feels like butter on your skin."
NikeSkims will launch on September 26 as a women's activewear brand created in partnership between Nike and Skims. A short film, Bodies at Work, features Serena Williams, Sha'Carri Richardson, Chloe Kim, Kim Kardashian, and collegiate athletes from USC and UCLA, highlighting gym and everyday wear. The line includes seven collections such as the compression Matte collection and the breathable, mesh-inspired knit Airy collection, plus seasonal releases. Offerings include leggings, biking shorts, sports bras, and more, with the brand claiming apparel can be worn 10,000 different ways. Nike positions the partnership as a growth play amid revenue pressures.
