TIFF presented audience-voted People's Choice Awards across multiple categories. The People's Choice Award went to Hamnet, directed by ChloƩ Zhao, with Frankenstein and Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery as first and second runners-up. The International People's Choice Award went to No Other Choice (Park Chan-wook) with Sentimental Value and Homebound as runners-up. The People's Choice Documentary Award went to The Road Between Us: The Ultimate Rescue, with EPiC and You Had to Be There as runners-up. Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie won the Midnight Madness audience award. Short Cuts Awards carry $10,000 CAD bursaries, with jurors Ashley Iris Gill, Marcel Jean, and Connor Jessup, and Talk Me (Joecar Hanna) named Best International Short Film.
