Hours after the killing of Alex Pretti by a U.S. Border Patrol agent, Wilde walked the red carpet wearing a pin reading "ICE OUT" and expressed outrage, calling the killings horrifying, insane, hideous and appalling. She said celebratory events felt difficult amid marches demanding justice and urged use of platforms to demand ICE leave. Natalie Portman likewise condemned ICE, calling the moment horrific and saying it is impossible to ignore ICE actions while noting inspiration from protests.
