My favourite Airbnb: a charming Cornish hideaway just steps from Padstow's coastline
Briefly

Plum Cottage is a charming two-bedroom rental in Trevone Bay, known for its eclectic interior that balances original features with modern conveniences. The cottage is designed for families, offering a four-poster bed in the master and other thoughtful touches like traditional games and a mini hamper of local scones. The owners' dedication to personalized hospitality makes every aspect of the stay feel special. This engaging atmosphere and the beauty of Cornwall create a strong desire for guests to return year after year, fostering a memorable experience and a sense of belonging.
Like all the Atlanta properties - there are a cluster of equally lovely apartments and houses in nearby Trevone Bay - interiors are eclectic in a way that feels both curated and lived-in.
This is a two-bed cottage and it's set up to suit a family. A four-poster bed in the master, lots of drawer space, and two single beds in the second room mean it could, if needed, fit four adults, but there's a distinct family-friendly vibe about the place.
Plum Cottage isn't just a nice house to stay in, though. It's a labour of love, and its owners pour personalised touches into the details to make every guest's stay special.
Will I be coming back? Absolutely. Not just because Cornwall has me in a (loving) choke hold, but because Plum Cottage is the kind of place that has embedded itself in my heart as well as my head.
