Did you lose your wallet? AT&T wants to help you recover your ID cards and other important financial items
Briefly

Fraud continues to escalate dramatically, with a notable 25% increase in reports from 2023 to 2024, resulting in over $12.5 billion lost. Responding to this alarming trend, AT&T has enhanced its fraud prevention app, ActiveArmor, with five new features designed to bolster user security. These include lost wallet recovery, ID restoration, a password manager, and social media identity protection. During a recent announcement, AT&T emphasized the importance of these updates as a direct response to consumer concerns about rising fraud and scams, highlighting its commitment to safeguarding customers' personal information.
The biggest impetus to our focus on security is the fact that consumers are consistently being victimized by fraudulent activity, and that it's increasing.
The ActiveArmor app was originally launched in 2016 to root out robocalls, but it has become one of the most comprehensive security apps available.
