"The Ear (3) has a case with a transparent lid, a trademark Nothing design cue. Speaking of which, the earbuds' stems have the very recognizable Nothing transparent look. The pairing button is inside the case in the bottom right as you can see, and we're definitely intrigued by the "TALK" button on the outside. Perhaps this will make the case work as a walkie-talkie with the earbuds? We can only speculate for now."
"With Ear (3), we've evolved our design language by focusing on the fundamentals: the engineering and the experience, resulting in an elevated product that looks and feels different, and functions in ways that are completely new to the industry. The approach to materials and processes, notably the use of anodized aluminum for the case structure and the earbud antenna, have enabled a product which is undoubtedly new, yet unmistakably Nothing."
Nothing will unveil the Ear (3) on September 18 as its next flagship pair of wireless earbuds. The charging case includes a transparent lid and uses 100% anodized recycled aluminum aimed at greater durability and a premium finish. The earbuds display Nothing's transparent stem aesthetic and achieve ultra-slim profiles by minimizing internal clearance and reengineering a flat metal antenna to a 0.35mm thickness. The pairing button sits inside the case at the bottom right, while an external "TALK" button suggests potential new communication functionality. The design emphasizes engineering, experience, material choices, and novel functional approaches.
