Her time at X was marked by significant challenges, particularly related to advertising partnerships. Despite her experience, she was limited in her ability to act independently due to Elon Musk's continued oversight. This new role at EMed allows her to establish her leadership reputation within a different sector. The company aims to leverage her connections as it seeks to expand and develop new partnerships.
"She finally gets to be a true CEO that I don't think Elon let her be. It's an opportunity to rehabilitate her reputation," said Lou Paskalis.
"They're capitalizing on those relationships," Paskalis said regarding EMed's plans with Yaccarino at the helm.
EMed cited Yaccarino's time at X as an asset in announcing her hire, calling her a 'hands-on visionary' whose experience will help it expand.
Yaccarino's tenure at X was turbulent and involved doing a lot of damage control for Elon Musk.
