Humanities scholars tackle research across disciplines | Cornell Chronicle
""The Spring Conference is my favorite event of the year in the HSP. It is immensely rewarding to see our scholars' hard work come to fruition, both in the intellectual depth of each student's individual project, and in the many confluences of ideas and approaches that emerge through their shared commitment to understanding how diverse stories, practices, and questions have shaped human culture and society.""
The Humanities Scholars Program (HSP) in the College of Arts & Sciences allows students to engage in interdisciplinary research across various fields. The program culminates in a Spring Research Conference where seniors present their work. This event also includes presentations from other undergraduates, fostering a broader academic community. HSP provides curated courses, mentorship, and funding, enhancing the educational experience for students majoring or minoring in humanities disciplines. The conference showcases the intellectual depth and collaborative spirit of the participants.
